ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Bulldawg Families:

We are very pleased and excited to announce that Andy Tarpley and Mike Neu have agreed to work with Walnut Creek Pony Baseball and run a 15U team this summer. They will do all of the training, coaching, managing, etc. for the team. We expect the team to be extremely competitive while it still emphasizes the excellent training and great development that our boys have enjoyed so far this season. Please see below for a message from Andy and Mike and call them or me with any questions you may have. Tryouts will be coming up at the end of March (March 30) and early April so please fill out the attached forms and send them back to me just as you would for the regular season as soon as possible.

Walnut Creek Pony Families:

Coach Neu and I are excited to announce that we are forming a 15U team to play summer ball this year under the Walnut Creek Bulldawg banner. We will be starting in mid June and play into early September (approx. 10 weeks). We will be conducting an open tryout and would like to invite all current players in the Walnut Creek Pony organization to tryout for the team with a birthdate of May 1, 1993 or later. We will play in 5-7 tournaments this summer and our season will consist of approximately 40 games in total. We will also be conducting training sessions 1-2 times weekly. We will use the DVC field for training and Heather Farm field as an alternative. Coach Neu and I believe that it is important to continue player development within the program and are looking forward to instructing in both a practice and a game environment this summer. Mike will be the manager of this squad and be with the team full time. I will be involved with training and as many games as possible but will not be able to attend full time because of commitments that were made prior to joining the Walnut Creek Pony family.
